Job Title: Project Manager – Construction

About the Role:

Our client is seeking Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of construction projects set to commence in the coming years. These projects are primarily in the early inception stages (pre-planning), with a few already underway on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with and balance the interests of various stakeholders.
  • Design Team Oversight: Lead and coordinate the design team to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Contractor Management: Oversee the appointment and supervision of main contractors.
  • Change Management: Handle and document changes or variations in the project scope.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress and budgets to head office and stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting: Manage and report on project finances and budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience, with some project management responsibilities within the construction industry.
  • Licensing: A full, clean driving license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as the role involves managing projects across multiple sites. (Work travel expenses will be covered.)
