Quantity Surveyor / Cost Management Advisor – Client Side

Project QS level. – Office Location Dublin – Hybrid working environment. Office and site visits as required.

Our client has one of the most significant development pipelines in the history of the state. They currently have a requirement for 2 further Quantity Surveyors in their Development Management team.

Significant amounts of the “traditional” QS duties are contracted out to private practice and this role sits as part of the Development team to ensure accurate cost data is being provided across the development process from inception and feasibility stage right through to build out and hand over. This is a unique role in that if offers a real management and oversight role to a Quantity Surveyor with c. 2 to 8 years post grad experience (indicative level).

We are looking for a QS with a pre and post contract experience on large scale development projects. This role will suit someone who can challenge the status quo, interrogate cost data, lead value engineering exercises and understands the difference between cost and value. A key part of the role is keeping the investment team up to date with and aware of development cost performance / trends and likely future cost variances and patterns.
