Chartered Quantity Surveyor – Senior to Assoc Level

Mid West based (Ireland)

NB Hybtid working is offered, Likely 3 days per week in the office, subject to business needs. (Not fully remote)

We are currently working with the client with an established team in the Midwest region that wish to recruit a senior quantity surveyor up to associate level to complement the existing management team. The company have an established client base diversified across several sectors and the successful candidate will work on a varied client base with the support of bought the company directors and junior staff.

Having worked with this client for a number of years and having received very positive feedback from other professionals introduced to the organization we are confident that this role will provide an excellent opportunity for a suitably ambitious surveyor to achieve their professional goals.

Experience & Qualifications

  • It is anticipated that suitably experienced candidates will already have achieved Chartered status (SCSI / RICS).
  • Although not rigid on this, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will likely have more than five years post qualification experience.
  • Project experience in the more “traditional” sectors of the Irish market is a prerequisite. Commercial, Residential, Industrial and Public Sector Building Contracts.
  • Pre and Post Contract experience.
  • Experience of negotiating fee accounts and winning work is desirable. At a minimum we will be looking for a willingness and interest in playing a part in this part of the business going forward.

The salary and package on offer although negotiable is anticipated to be in the range of €70,000 to €85,000 with a benefits package including pension, bonus, professional fees, company mobile telephone and lap top, friendly working environment with significant career advancement opportunities.

NB. The base salary will be dependent on the experience the successful candidate brings to the table and the level of support that the board feel they will have to give.

Staff that wish to pursue further studies relevant to the business will be supported within reason subject to prior agreement.
